On June 14, the Church’s Philippines Facebook page shared photos of an angel Moroni statue being hoisted atop the Urdanteta Philippines Temple.

“As with so many temples all over the world, the angel Moroni now looks on from above, trumpet in hand, declaring to all that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the Earth,” the Facebook post said.

An increasing number of recent temples do not have an angel Moroni statue. As of this article’s publication, there were 64 renderings of planned temples, and 53 did not feature a statue.
