Thanks to the LDS Church Newsfor making us aware of this story.

In order to help enhance Latter-day Saints' worship experience, many social media sites will no longer be available at LDS meetinghouses beginning in May.

A recent release sent to Church leaders, including branch presidents and bishops, stake and district clerks, and technology specialists, explains, "Non-Church-related internet use in meetinghouses often creates difficulty for those who are trying to use it for Church purposes." Because of this, the Church is reconfiguring the internet in meetinghouses to keep the focus on Church purposes.

The following social media sites will be blocked in LDS meetinghouses this month:

Instagram
Pinterest
Tumblr
MySpace
Twitter
Flixster
Xfinity TV
Spotify
Pandora
Rhapsody
Netflix
Amazon Video
Hulu
Soundcloud
Zynga
Kahoot
Clash of Clans
Big Fish Games
Gamespot
