Zachary McLeod Hutchins is an English professor at Colorado State University, where he writes and teaches about early American literature and religious culture. In addition to the essays and monographs he has written for scholarly audiences, he is the author of several books intended for Latter-day Saint readers, including The Best Gifts: Seeking Earnestly for Spiritual Power; Shall I Have Pleasure? An Answer for Sarah; and Joseph: An Epic. He currently serves as a Nursery leader in his home ward, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
