Following an announcement from the Church Educational System that no large gatherings will be held, BYU Women's Conference posted the following on Facebook

We are sad to announce that BYU Women’s Conference will follow the CES COVID-19 Guidelines released this evening. This means that the 2020 BYU Women's Conference will not be held on the BYU Campus April 30 and May 1, 2020. We know the CES guidelines were given after careful and prayerful consideration and with concern for the health of all who visit our campus. We are looking into streaming options and will share more information about those options as it becomes available. All who have registered for the conference or for housing will automatically be issued a full refund. BYU Women's Conference 2020 ticket winners and their guests will be registered for our 2021 conference. We are so disappointed that we are not able to physically gather with you on campus this spring, but send you our love and look forward to joining with you again on April 29 & 30, 2021.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles had previously been announced as the concluding speaker for BYU Women's Conference.
