4 new temple renderings released for US temples

Exterior renderings have been released for four new temples in the western United States. These temples were announced in April 2021 general conference by President Russell M. Nelson. Locations and construction plans for each of these temples were also announced earlier this summer.

Yorba Linda California Temple

The Yorba Linda California Temple will be California’s ninth temple, and its location was announced in July 2021, It will be approximately 30,000 square feet once completed and housed on a 5.4-acre site.


Burley Idaho Temple

Idaho’s seventh temple will be a two-story temple of approximately 38,600 square feet. Its location was announced in June of 2021.


Elko Nevada Temple

The Elko Nevada Temple will be Nevada’s third temple (following Las Vegas and Reno), and will be approximately 10,000 square foot in size on a 5.2-acre site adjacent to the Ruby View Golf Course. The location for the temple site was announced in June 2021.


Grand Junction Colorado Temple

This temple will be the third in the state of Colorado. The other two temples in Colorado are located in Denver and Fort Collins. Construction plans have mapped out a single-story temple of around 25,000 square feet. Its location was made public in June 2021.
