April 2020 general conference didn't fall short of expectations. During the special evening session of general conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced a new symbol to identify the Church visually as the Church of Jesus Christ in addition to announcing a worldwide fast on Good Friday, (April 11, 2020) to help alleviate suffering due to COVID-19. A new proclamation was also issued by the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in conjunction with doing a Hosanna Shout, and eight new temple announcements.

There’s not a better time in any of our lives to “grow into the principle of revelation”1 than when we are desperate to know the answer to a question that has great implications and ramifications for our lives.
