Learning to be a Better Rescuer

Elder Russell M. Ballard spoke in the October 2014 session of General Conference about staying on the Old Ship Zion. He warned us to stay on the boat, wear our life jackets, and hold on tight. I wrote about that here.

I’d like to approach Elder Ballard’s talk from a different perspective this time–the rescue. At the end of his talk he said, “If any one of you have fallen out of the boat, we will seek you, find you, administer to you, and pull you safely back onto the Old Ship Zion. For God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ are at the helm and will guide us right.”
