In 2021, youth around the world will be engaged in “a great work.”

A notice from the Young Men and Young Women General Presidencies posted to ChurchofJesusChrist.org says:

President Russell M. Nelson has invited every young woman and every young man to “enlist in the youth battalion of the Lord to help gather Israel.” In response to the prophet’s invitation, and in coordination with the course of study for seminary and Come, Follow Me, the youth theme chosen for 2021 is “Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great. Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind” (Doctrine and Covenants 64:33–34).

The notice continues that parents and youth leaders are encouraged to teach principles from the theme scripture at home and at church throughout the year. The theme can also be used for youth sacrament meeting talks, youth activities, camps, conferences, and devotionals.

More resources, like music, videos, and art, will become available later this year. Leaders will receive an email when this becomes available.
