The Church has updated its “Political Neutrality” topic page on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, expanding the title to “Political Neutrality and Participation.”
A new letter from the First Presidency announced that the move is part of “an effort to strengthen and simplify home-centered, Church-supported gospel learning.”
In an official Church statement, it was announced that Elder Holland will be excused from Church assignments for at least 2 months to allow him to focus on his health.
