Elder and Sister Renlund to address young adults in worldwide devotional

Newsroom released the following statement concerning the upcoming young adult devotional.

Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Sister Ruth Renlund will speak to young adults during a worldwide devotional available for viewing on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

All young adults ages 18–30 are invited to watch the broadcast.

Messages will focus on Church history found in Saints, vol. 3, Boldly, Nobly, and Independent, with historical and personal accounts highlighting:

  • Continuing prophetic and personal revelation
  • Uniting families for eternity
  • Making and keeping temple covenants
  • Inviting all to receive the gospel
  • Caring for those in need

Local leaders are encouraged to determine a viewing date and time that best serve the young adults in their area. The broadcast may be used in support of area plans and temple and family history plans.
Watch the broadcast on the Church satellite system, broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org (available for two weeks), or YouTube (live and on-demand streaming). Access video and audio-only files in 40 languages in Gospel Library under “Young Adults.”

Saints, Vol. 3: Boldly, Nobly, and Independent, 1893-1955

Volume 3 of Saints: The Story of the Church of Jesus Christ in the Latter Days tells the ongoing story of the Restoration, from financial difficulties of the 1890s, through the global upheaval and technological advances of the early twentieth century, and on to dedication of the first temple in Europe in 1955.
