FamilySearch announces a new free RootsTech after-party event for young adults


In an exciting announcement, FamilySearch has shared that they will be holding a brand new event for 2023: the RootsTech After Party for Young Adults. The free event will take place on Friday, March 3, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Salt Palace Convention Center, the same location as RootsTech 2023. The brand-new event will be full of motivation and entertainment with Elder and Sister Gong, live music, food, and more. Participants can join in fun and meaningful family discovery activities to enter a giveaway with prizes ranging from free DNA kits to a brand-new laptop.

As part of RootsTech, both online participants and in-person attendees will also get to hear from keynote speaker American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, keynote speaker Lord of the Rings actor Sean Astin, and official RootsTech emcee actor Kirby Heyborne.
