For more than 20 years, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square have hosted an annual Christmas concert, celebrating the joy, beauty, and love of the holidays through stories and music. And this December, the 2021 Christmas concert will once again air on PBS and BYUtv for audiences around the country to enjoy with loved ones. This Christmas special from the Choir features soulful celebrations of the season by Tony Award–nominated performer Megan Hilty and well-known film and television actor Neal McDonough from the concert in 2021.

McDonough and Hilty both share Irish heritage and joined the Choir and Orchestra, trumpeters, and bell ringers in delivering a musical celebration that weaves together classic Christmas carols and hymns with more traditional Irish musical numbers.
“My experience with the Tabernacle Choir, music director Mack Wilberg, and everybody behind the scenes was almost indescribable,” said Hilty. “Every single second of it was infused with joy, and there is so much incredible attention put into every detail of the show. You can feel the love in every set decoration, in the lighting plot, in everything. I think this concert is the ultimate Christmas celebration.”
