Mark your calendars: The first 2022 Friend to Friend event coming in February

A worldwide Church broadcast for children, their parents, and Primary leaders will be available beginning on Saturday, February 19, at 10 a.m. mountain standard time.

The meeting will focus on baptism, the Holy Ghost, and the sacrament, and will be available in American Sign Language (ASL), Cantonese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

The event will be available in the twelve languages above on, Gospel Library, and Gospel Media any time after 10 a.m. mountain standard time on February 19. Additionally, you can watch the broadcast in English, Spanish, and Portuguese on:

Last fall, the Church released its 2022 broadcast events schedule, and two new unique events will take place next year: A worldwide devotional on sharing the gospel in June and a worldwide event for parents in August. Additionally, there will be three worldwide devotionals for young adults, a RootsTech family history conference, two youth events, and three Friend to Friend broadcasts for children.

The Church’s first Friend to Friend event was held on February 20, 2021 and offered an exciting opportunity for the youngest members of the Church to hear messages just for them from Church leaders.

The Church-wide broadcast events for 2022 will be the following:


  • January 9: Area devotionals for young adults (streaming in six areas)


  • February 19: Friend to Friend broadcast for children, 10:00 a.m. mountain standard time


  • March 3–5: 2022 RootsTech family history conference
  • A youth Face to Face event originally scheduled for January 29, 2022, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 9, at 6 p.m. mountain standard time


  • April 2–3: April 2022 general conference
  • April 15–16: The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square Easter broadcast


  • May 15: Worldwide devotional for young adults


  • June 8: Youth Music Festival, 6:00 p.m. mountain daylight time
  • June 25: Worldwide devotional on sharing the gospel


  • July: Pioneer Day commemoration concert
  • July 16: Friend to Friend broadcast for children, 10:00 a.m. mountain daylight time


  • August 21: Worldwide event for parents, 5:00 p.m. mountain daylight time


  • September 11: Worldwide devotional for young adults


  • October 1–2: October 2022 general conference


  • November 5: Friend to Friend broadcast for children, 10:00 a.m. mountain daylight time


  • December 4: First Presidency Christmas devotional
