Jan J. Martin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. Her scholarship focuses on the Book of Mormon, New Testament, on sixteenth-century religious reformers and on early English Bibles. She spent nearly seven years living in England as she completed her PhD and loves all things British, including her husband Jared who she met and married while living in York. She loves to participate in a wide variety of sporting activities, enjoys playing the piano when she has time, and likes to explore the beautiful Utah mountains.
