Celine and David Morton, proud residents of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, have shared a rich marriage of 29 years, blessed with a vibrant (you know what that means) family comprising five children—Jared, Ireland, Gabriel, Max, and Jack—along with their ever rotating animal companions from birds to ferrets, rats and orphaned squirrels but currently simply two dogs and three cats. Celine's passion for photography, flower collecting and mountaineering, fused with her frequent (somewhat embarrassing) bursts of song and dance, makes sure the home is anything but typical. Meanwhile, David, is a professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of Utah, where he teaches anatomy and physiology to aspiring medical, dental, PA, PT, and OT students. He serves as bishop in their home ward and also maintains a YouTube channel teaching anatomy to prospective learners across the globe. Both children of European immigrants Celine and David share a love for travel, and food and music from all cultures. If it would make a great story to tell, they are willing to try anything. Including, being guests on this podcast.
Chere Jones Clarke grew up in Utah and her teenage years in Arkansas, where her Dad was called to be a mission president. During that time she could relate to Laman and Lemuel having to follow their father into the wilderness, fortunately her heart was softened and she counts her time in Arkansas as the defining foundation of her testimony. One of her best decisions was marrying her best friend, Keith, after he returned home from his mission. They are the parents of four children (and three spouses) who live life to the fullest and always have a story to tell her. A breast cancer survivor, she enjoys volunteering and has worked with immigrants, single parents, and is currently a women’s history research specialist at the Church History Library. Her passion is learning something new and making memories with those she loves.

Kimberley Brown Sorenson, known affectionately by her friends as “Brown”, was born on the border in spicy El Paso, Texas. She was raised by wonderful parents who instilled the Four F’s: Faith, Family, Friends, and Football. Brown attended LDSBC and served a mission in the heartland of Wisconsin where she milked cows, sampled delicious cheeses, and taught the gospel to some fine folk—Go Packers! For four years she was a nanny for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver where she loved their kids and traveled the world. Brown is a single mom to four great kids and spends A LOT of time cheering her son’s football team and applying red lipstick to her daughter before dance recitals. Brown would kill a man for a street taco and a Diet Mountain Dew, extra ice. You will always find Peanut M&M’s in her voluminous purse, along with enough hair and makeup supplies to ready a professional theater group. Her gift of faith has been an anchor to her in the many hardships she has faced. The most true thing Brown knows is that the Holy Ghost speaks to us and lets us know what is right and what is wrong.
Paula Crnkovich Millington was born in Idaho to the best parents and family in the world. After she graduated from BYU (BS), she took a ministerial leave of absence from LDS Hospital to serve in the Kaohsiung Taiwan mission. Paula also received degrees from the University of Utah (M.Ed and Ph.D). Seven years after she returned from her mission in Taiwan, she met her husband, Jeff Millington, who served in the Taipei Taiwan mission. Paula recently retired from the University of Utah and she and Jeff are currently serving together as missionaries in the Taipei Taiwan mission. Paula loves the Savior and His gospel and takes so much comfort in the plan of redemption and her covenants, constantly recognizing tender mercies in her life. Faith! Family! Friends! Are her priorities. She loves chocolate (an understatement) and jigsaw puzzles and morning walks. Paula’s father’s parents (Crnković/Gasparac and Palijan/Krizmanić) are from Croatia and she and her siblings have been able to visit their grandparents’ birthplaces and meet Croatian cousins. It turns out they are pretty much related to everyone in both villages so family and friends have been busy doing temple work for every relative they can find. It’s a labor of love.

Heather B. Moore lives in Utah with her family, and several pets, including a bearded dragon. As a teenager, she lived in the Middle East, attending Cairo American College in Egypt and the Anglican School of Jerusalem in Israel. Despite failing her high school AP English exam, Heather persevered and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in something other than English. At age 30, Heather discovered she loved to write—when it wasn’t homework—and she writes primarily about women in the scriptures, under pen name H.B. Moore. She also writes historical women's fiction, sweet romance, and inspirational non-fiction under Heather B. Moore . . . This can all be confusing, so her kids just call her Mom.
