As we reflect today on the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, we would like to remind our readers of these messages of comfort shared by leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the days and years since that awful day.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square concluded their nine day tour of the upper midwest by ending in Minneapolis, Minn. June 20. The choir and orchestra received praise for each of their six concerts. “There are concert tours, and then there are concert tours. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir would fall under the latter,” said the Mundelein Review, based in Illinois.

It's been a little over a year since Aaronic Priesthood quorums throughout the Church began utilizing the revised Duty to God program. For legions of deacons, teachers and priests across the globe, the program and its now familiar "learn, act and share" pattern have become a part of their daily lives as they serve, prayerfully study, learn and grow.In his worldwide duties as the Young Men general president, Brother David L. Beck has met with thousands of young men and their advisers, bishops and fathers. Such meetings have afforded him sacred moments to testify of the opportunities afforded by the Duty to God program. Already it has proven a priceless tool for earnest Aaronic Priesthood holders preparing for missions, future families and lives dedicated to learning and fulfilling their duty to the Lord.

She scoured Los Angeles' fabric market, testing fabrics until she found something that wouldn't shrink, that was colorfast so the die wouldn't fade or run, and was comfortable. She designed her own patterns, had her first batch of Classic Cami's produced, and launched Kate's Camisoles.

I own several Disney soundtracks. And sometimes, it’s just as much fun to rock out to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” as it is to whatever’s on the top of today’s pop charts. With their fun music that brings movies to life and makes you want to sing and dance along, Disney songs seem to have a nearly universal appeal. And because Mormons seem to watch Disney movies more prolifically than perhaps your average American because of their much cleaner content when contrasted with the increasingly sketchy world of Hollywood, we seem to also have a much greater love for the music than your average person.
