The story that follows the events after Christ’s death tells of those who loved Him most. There were the women who prepared His body with spices and oils, wrapping Him in linen before He was placed in a tomb. And there were His disciples who rejoiced when they realized that the Savior of the world had risen. While thousands of years have passed since that time, the joy and love that these witnesses of Christ experienced is felt by us today. So while we may not have the opportunity to be at the same tomb as they did, our study of Matthew 28, Mark 16; Luke 24; and John 20–21, will help you feel like you're there—and, we hope, help remind you of your love for Him.

Video Shows Flood Waters Receding from Houston Temple

The flood waters that breached the Houston Texas Temple earlier this week, flooding the baptistry, a marriage waiting room, dressing rooms, kitchen, and laundry, have begun receding. Whether or not Mitt Romney becomes president of the United States, the editor of The Jewish Week in New York says there is a lot Jews can learn from the Mormons. "For the most part, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) takes a decidedly, and admirably low-key approach to negativity in the media and elsewhere, focusing on its mission," wrote Gary Rosenblatt, The Jewish Week editor and publisher. "And in that, and other ways, there is much the American Jewish establishment can learn from the Mormons."
