In 2011, Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah, created the Light of the World Garden—a garden featuring 15 life-sized scenes from the life of Jesus Christ by sculptor Angela Johnson. This Christmas season, the garden has taken on a new, stunning look with hundreds of lanterns illuminating the pathways and providing nighttime visitors with the perfect opportunity to reflect on the life of the Savior.

As a single Latter-day Saint, church experiences are different from the “norm.” I took some time to talk with a dozen or so singles and former singles (particularly those who spent some real time being single past the age of 21) and invited them to tell the rest of us what they’d like us to know about their experience as singles in the Church.
