An informal survey from one of the Church historians found that almost no one could name five women from Church history. (Can you? I could, barely!) So, when Bethany and I wanted to do a book about Church history women, we had a lot of research to do. (Thank goodness for the learned and gracious church historians who were a fountain of knowledge— and good humor!) The exciting thing for me was not just learning their names but seeing all the astounding things these women accomplished.
Over the years, the Church has released numerous inspirational videos on a myriad of topics, ranging from overcoming addiction to living with mental illness and most everything in between. These inspired messages are meant to uplift and help individuals persevere through the many challenges and hardships of life.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continues to provide relief amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Church is now distributing cash and commodities in response to an unprecedented number of humanitarian requests around the world.

In 1976, I was the elders quorum president in my campus ward, and Brother Jon Huntsman was the high council adviser. He was already successful in his plastics business. I even remember him slipping me a personal check for $1,000 with these simple instructions: “Use this to help those who are in need in your quorum.” They were never to know where the money came from.
