Having doubts about higher education? Maybe you're thinking about attending college but wonder whether it's worth the cost. Or maybe you're already a college student and are worried about whether you'll be able to get a good job in your field. You're right to be thinking about these issues.
Most LDS singles strive to be their best in every aspect of life. They fear settling for something that is mediocre in dating and love. They hope for amazing (and even enviable) relationships.
Can you think of anything more frightening than being lost at sea with only a kayak and your thoughts to keep you company? Well last week that nightmare became a reality for Arlen Tanner, an LDS attorney from Missouri.
Several years ago we spent the Christmas holidays skiing at a cabin. That was a really good idea for the first two days, but by the end of the third day I could no longer walk, so I ended up lounging in my (very cute) pajamas. Later that evening I agreed to go to the store because my kids decided they didn’t want what had been prepared for dinner, but I really didn’t want to change. My sisters-in-law were sitting at the kitchen table and I asked them, “Do you think it would be a big deal if I wore my pajamas to the grocery store?” Their reply? “No, you will be there for five minutes; no one will even notice what you are wearing.”
The word “addict” or “addiction” conjures up images for almost everyone. A person would have to search far to find someone that had lived life unaffected by addiction either directly or indirectly. Most people know an addict. Many of us are, or have been, addicts. Those of us that have been there never thought we would be. Most of us are still bewildered over how it happened and enormously frustrated in our attempts to remedy our situations. No one ever sets out to be an addict. Some happen upon it accidentally, others mistakenly through immature or poor decisions early on. However it happened, it is certain that the havoc wrought by addiction was not and is not the intent of the person ensnared by this deadly malady.

We’re talking about that adorable guy or girl you’ve been dating, who has suddenly, and quite inexplicably, simply disappeared. Poof. Gone. MIA. This common dating phenomenon is called ‘ghosting’.
Last week the Mormon world was set abuzz when Rainn Wilson, best known for his role as Dwight K. Schrute from The Office, posted a picture of sister missionaries on his Instagram, saying, "I was visited by some very nice Mormon missionary Sisters this morning."
Among the most laughably improbable prophecies recorded by the Prophet Joseph Smith is Moroni’s prediction that, in the Prophet’s words, “My name should be had for good and evil among all nations, kindreds, and tongues, or that it should be both good and evil spoken of among all people” (see Joseph Smith-History 1:33).

Why do we have such a hard time accepting love and kindness from our neighbors? It might come from one of the following reasons.
