Youth resources: Last week I pointed out a teaser trailer for Mormon Channel's Strength of Youth 2013 media, and I am excited to now highlight the entire Strength of Youth 2013 media playlist. It features 15 videos on subjects such as “We're Still a Family - Plan of Salvation,” “Through Small Things - Home & Family,” “The Glory of God is Intelligence — Standards: Education" and many more. I love how so many of them feature youth testimonies in voices from around the world. In a similar vein, find a good explanation for some of the new learning resources for youths found in this month’s Ensign and online. Check it all out!
We love following the social media accounts for the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve. This year they shared some unique stories, memories, and pictures of their Christmases past. Check out the Facebook posts below.
The last decade has seen a lot of changes, inside and outside of the Church. So, how have these new movements and social trends impacted First Presidency messages?

You might have missed what went on the last week, but we've our list of the week's most popular stories so you don't miss a beat. For May 27 through June 1, 2012, these are LDS Living’s top hits:
In a world where movie stars, pop culture, and reality television are defining standards of beauty and dress, Latter-day Saint women should be distinct and different, say general auxiliary leaders of the Church. The way Latter-day Saint women dress reflects an “outward understanding of an inward commitment,” said Sister Elaine S. Dalton, Young Women general president.
Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor whose name was inappropriately submitted to a genealogical database from which names are extracted for proxy baptisms in temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is outraged. "I think it's scandalous," Wiesel told the Huffington Post after the story broke earlier this week that his name, along with his father's and maternal grandfather's, appeared on the database. "Not only objectionable, it's scandalous."
Twilight author Stephanie Meyer captivates her audience by weaving one single concept throughout her entire series--the quest for eternal love. As romantic and fantastical as this may be to read, for Meyer, a Mormon, it is more than just mere fantasy--it’s reality; minus, of course, all the vampire action. The belief that love is eternal is at the very heart of the meaning of love for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s the lens through which Mormons view their most personal relationships, serve community and extend their outreach in charitable humanitarian efforts globally.

Just like any fairytale princess, Jenny Oaks Baker has worked to achieve her dreams. Although instead of spending hours every day cleaning after evil step-sisters, Baker spends hours practicing the violin; instead of dressing mice in home-made garb, she dresses each note played with passion and technique.
