Our Primary program is finally done. I'm the chorister, and I’m a guy. I was called to this position under a new Primary president and counselor, six weeks before the scheduled performance. And two of those weeks were used up by stake and general conference!
Sunday service at the First Baptist Church in Columbia has just ended, and Rex Rish is tying up a few loose ends with the video broadcast of this week’s sermon. Rish has been coming to this historic church for a quarter-century and volunteers on the technical side to help with the broadcast that hits five stations throughout South Carolina. He considers himself a devout Baptist.

Bill Marriott puts faith at the forefront of his life, and that's no secret. In the rooms in his hotels guests can find a copy of the Book of Mormon and Bible. At a party celebrating the opening of his $24-million Los Angeles hotel Bill recalled a memorable moment with John Wayne: “He was a very large man and a man of few words, but he let me know exactly what he wanted—a drink—when he said, ‘I understand liquor flows like glue at Mormon parties.’” There was little doubt in any one's mind that to Bill Marriott, faith and family came first.
The annual BYU Education Week, originally scheduled to begin on Brigham Young University campus on August 17, will now be held online beginning on October 7, 2020.
