Carli Anderson is an assistant professor of religion and the humanities at Northern Arizona University. Her academic research—which focuses on female figures in the Hebrew Bible—blends textual hermeneutics and religious anthropology and is enriched by theoretical frameworks related to ritual, pilgrimage, space, memory, and affect. She has an MA in Hebrew Bible/Ancient Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University and a PhD in religious studies from Arizona State University. Her dissertation work focused on the biblical Rachel as an emplaced cultural figure at the site of Rachel’s Tomb in Jerusalem. Dr. Anderson has spent many years working and researching in the Holy Land. She currently lives in the beautiful mountain country of Arizona.
Mindy is a Utah native, born and raised in Cottonwood Heights. She is married to her favorite person, Ken Larsen, and together they have enjoyed 37 fun‑filled years. For the past 28 years, they have lived in what she jokingly refers to as “Zion” (South Jordan).

Stephanie lives in Idaho Falls with her engineer husband and three teenage boys. Before focusing on momming and writing, she worked as an RN. She’s got an English degree from BYU, several publications—including short stories and essays—and a head full of ideas. When she’s not busy reading, writing, or heading up writing groups, she helps mentor a robotics team, works on martial arts, and enjoys boating with her family.
Kimi lives in Bountiful, Utah with her husband, Bob, who is kind and funny, can do all the things, and is everybody’s favorite. She enjoys hiking, movies, audiobooks, and girl trips. She loves people, and has many beloved friends from all walks of life and of all ages. She also loves copyediting, and in 2021, she proudly earned her English degree from Utah State University at the age of 52.
Ben Spackman has a MA in Old Testament languages and literature, and a PhD in American Religious History. His scholarship focuses on the ancient contexts of scripture— especially Genesis— and the modern contexts influencing our interpretations of scripture. He lives with his wife Christy, a professor of Science and Technology Studies, and together they love to cook, travel, bike, and run.
