During its eight years of construction, the Rome Italy Temple has undergone many extraordinary changes, from the placement of statues of Christ and His twelve apostlesin the temple visitors' center to the recent removal of scaffolding along the temple's exterior. This spring, the First Presidency announced that the Rome Italy Temple will be dedicated Sunday, March 10 through Sunday, March 17, 2019, with an open house to be held January 28 through February 16.
