Brandon Stewart had the ride of a lifetime over the weekend. After many brain surgeries and cancer treatments, Stewart, age 44, learned in December 2020 that he doesn’t have long to live. So when his wife asked if there was something special he’d like to do with his remaining time, he responded that he’d like to ride in Brigham Young University’s football equipment truck.
Kaloni Hall is an Idaho farmgirl who enjoys archery, crafting, and music. She’s a family history enthusiast who especially enjoys visiting countries of her heritage. She owns an event and wedding planning company in Idaho. As a member of Big Ocean Women, she advocates for faith,family, and motherhood globally. Bekki Hood grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, until she moved to Arizona for her education. Because of her love for writing, teaching, and helping others, she earned a master’s degree in English at Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Idaho State University. She currently works as a counselor in Layton, Utah, and she teaches introductory writing courses at BYU. She loves visiting her family, spending time with friends, and crashing her parents’ vacations.
Ellie Smith was an intern for LDS Living and is from Boise, Idaho, (that's BOY-see, not boy-ZEE) and graduated from BYU with a BA in English and a minor in editing. She is always down for an adventure and has traveled to England, Iceland, Italy, France, and Spain. As an aspiring chef, Ellie loves trying new recipes and visiting unique local eateries. At the end of the day she likes to settle down with a good book and a box of Ferrero Rocher.

Infertility is a hard subject for couples in the Church, where the family is the focus. It can cause tremendous stress in a marriage, pain, and questioning. Recently, Alo Moli shared his story on Twitter about his family's struggle with infertility and faith. The following story has been edited for length and clarity.
As their children said prayers, Melissa and John Petrini carried Benjamin (7) and Isabella (5) through the crowded streets of Tokyo only moments after the 8.9 earthquake experienced on March 11. As a dentist for the United States Navy, John and his family had been deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Each year, the Petrinis and four other LDS families on deployment visit Tokyo for a week-long temple trip and site seeing tour.
Only 23 Church members live in The Gambia, 11 of whom were baptized within the past week. Elder Christofferson testified that God is anxious to bless the whole country.
