In my personal spiritual journey the past couple of years, I’ve come to realize how expansive God’s love and reach is. I see God and His love at work in so many different people’s lives, regardless of religious background, current alignment (or lack thereof) with the Ten Commandments, etc. I have come to know a God who truly is “no respecter of persons,” and who truly loves His children and earnestly does all He can to bless and help them.
Earlier this week, Elder L. Tom Perry was hospitalized for breathing troubles. Though the Church announced that Elder Perry was released from the hospital and was resting at home Wednesday night, Friday, the Church gave an important update on Elder Perry's health:

The Friday session of BYU’s Women Conference began with a Sister to Sister event. Host Irene Caso was joined by Sister Sharon Eubank of the Relief Society General Presidency, Sister Michelle Craig of the Young Women General Presidency, and Sister Susan H. Porter, who was called to the Primary General Presidency during the April 2021 general conference.
I have often struggled with anxiety. To some, it might seem a little strange that a psychologist would have mental health challenges, like knowing a cardiologist who has heart disease. Regardless, my base nature is to worry. It has been a source of distress for many years but has also been an opportunity for growth and insight. One of my ongoing stressors has been concerns for the future. I find myself worried about our children, our finances, our livelihood—just about anything that is not within my direct control. Fortunately, my wife has great faith, and her steadiness usually counteracts my panic. Yet even then, I often get overly worried about what tomorrow holds and whether everything will still be okay.
There’s an electric, almost tangible buzz in the air around this time of year that settles over Temple Square and Latter-day Saint chapels throughout the world—and it has nothing to do with changing weather. It’s general conference time.
