I am not the type of person that will speak my mind. In fact, I think I am rather fearful and shy when it comes to sharing my thoughts and opinions on important social issues. I usually have a lot to say, but don’t always have the courage to say it, until after an issue is long gone. MR says: For many going through the heartbreak of divorce, infertility, or singleness, Church can be a painful reminder that their family does not fit the type usually talked about in lessons and sacrament talks.

A Latter-day Saint detective from Salt Lake City, Utah, Spider-Man character Jacob Raven knows his fair share of tragedy. Having a prominent Mormon character in a major Marvel comic book is interesting in and of itself, but a fascinating aspect of Jacob Raven is how he becomes a Job-like character in Spider-Man and how he relies on his faith to keep him going.
