Suzanna Erickson is from Utah but has lived outside the state. She longed for a mountain view and, luckily, her family found a house with a mountain in their back yard. They have become quite the redneck farmers from the chickens to the dogs to the cows and horses and the goats next door, and husband and sons honking train horns they installed on their trucks. Thankfully, they are blessed with kind patient neighbors! Suzanna has learned to embrace it and wouldn’t change a thing. She has six of the best kids and a husband who tries to desensitize them every once in a while, but they don’t budge.
George and Celeste Kaka are a young couple with three young boys: Manaia and Ryder (who are twins) and Asher, the youngest. They both served missions for the Church, George in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Mission and Celeste in the Auckland New Zealand Mission. After serving their missions, they met at BYU—H in 2016 and married later that same year. After getting married, they decided to stay in Hawaii and love being close to the temple and the beach as they raise their boys.
Jason was raised in Utah, but has spent the last 7 years in Arizona after marrying his wife Amanda. They currently live in Glendale with their three children. Jason’s love of gospel learning started at a young age but blossomed while taking institute classes at Weber State University after a mission to Santiago, Chile. He enjoys vacationing on cruise ships with his family, building Legos with his kids, and eating ice cream after dinner (or anytime really). Jason works for UPS as a package delivery driver and looks forward to going home as his last (and most important) stop of the day.
Amy Whitmore, born of goodly parents, grew up in Marin County, just north of San Francisco. She fell in love with island life, the Book of Mormon, Spanish, and the people of Puerto Rico while serving in the San Juan mission. Amy’s love of the Spanish language came in handy as she opened restaurants and family entertainment centers throughout the country (and when visiting cities like Juarez, Mexico, where a certain karaoke contest practically made her famous with the locals!). Amy took a break from her career after meeting and marrying her “dream man,” becoming an instant mom to three children, and settling in the Pacific North West. Amy and “Dream Man” welcomed two more children together and are now happy to call Denver, Colorado, home. When she’s not building forts with her girls, installing a new toilet, dabbling in real estate, FaceTiming her precious granddaughter, cheering on the Young Women in her ward, or hosting a kitchen dance party, Amy loves to travel with her husband (and sometimes even with the children) to beautiful, island destinations!
