Our favorite toys are back together again in Toy Story 4, 24 years after the original Toy Story hit theaters to instant, raving fans. How does this franchise consistently pump out one fantastic film after another? Disney and Pixar’s magical formula has done it again. Former Chief Creator Director of Disney John Lasseter has always said that Pixar wouldn’t make another Toy Story movie unless it was as good or better than previous versions. Mission accomplished. Wendy Ulrich wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her life until she read a single question in a book one day: What would you do if you were guaranteed success? And in that moment, she knew she wanted to be a psychologist. “I care enough about this that I’m afraid to fail at it,” she remembers thinking. “I’m afraid I’ll be bad at it . . . In February — and for the first time in more than 40 years — the State of Kuwait gave official recognition to a religious organization. That organization is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This week's FHE lesson topic comes from the Come, Follow Me reading of James. Check out this week's Come, Follow Me study ideas on LDS Living for additional resources and suggestions.
Often, in my field of mental health counseling, I am asked by parents, “How do I teach my children about sex as well as morality?” to which I respond, “You don’t.” To such a statement I usually get bewildered looks. I quickly reply, “You teach them healthy sexuality, which is morality.”
