Tabernacle Choir Announces 2020 "Messiah" Concert Soloists, Find Out How to Get Tickets


George Frideric Handel’s famous oratorio Messiah was first performed in 1742 and has been performed by The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square every two years in the Tabernacle. The concert is also streamed live over the internet to audiences around the globe. 

The four soloists that have been selected to perform with the choir and orchestra during this year's performance are Andriana Chuchman, soprano; Tamara Mumford, mezzo-soprano; Tyler Nelson, tenor; and Christian Pursell, bass-baritone.

The concert will be performed live in the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, and simulcast to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building Legacy Theatre and to the Conference Center Theater on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. (MST). The concert will also be live-streamed at,, and on the Choir’s Youtube and Facebook pages. 

The concert will also be available on-demand after the live performances. 

Tickets are required for both the live concert and simulcasts on Temple Square. Free tickets are available online at on Tuesday, March 17 at 9:00 a.m. (MST). Admission is available to those 8 years and older.
