FamilySearch has announced a new feature that allows anyone to quickly search for an ancestor. Using Discovery Search on the FamilySearch home page, you can quickly get results from several FamilySearch databases—the tree, records, memories, and last name information—with one quick query.

The feature can save you from scrolling through generations of your pedigree chart to locate a specific ancestor.
