The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a series of powerful videos about overcoming pornography, supporting loved ones with a pornography problem, and finding healing from pornography or betrayal trauma. We will be highlighting these valuable resources over the ensuing weeks.

As ChurchofJesusChrist.org/addressing-pornography states:

"Though we may want to make this problem go away, our spouses are the only ones who can decide whether they will overcome their pornography habits. Our responsibility is to focus on our own emotional well-being and create boundaries between ourselves and their behavior that will help us maintain emotional well-being. . . . "The effects of pornography in a marriage often leave us with our own wounds that need attention. Nurturing ourselves strengthens us to be supportive of our children and other family members impacted by the situation."

How Setting Boundaries Can Help Heal Your Marriage after Pornography Use

An essential aspect of taking care of our own emotional, mental, and spiritual health is to set boundaries with our spouse. "Setting boundaries helps us to remember our worth as children of God and know that we are worthy of love and kindness in our lives," the Church's website notes.
