In the hopes of helping the Church #LighttheWorld, Latter-day Saint artist Monica Scott created a children's Christmas song "about [our Savior's] light that even the youngest listeners can internalize," Scott writes on Facebook. The song, "Starlight," which originally came out in 2017, shares the message that Christ's light "shining bright, forever will stay."

Last year, the song reached Latter-day Saints in Mexico, who hoped to have a translation of the song in Spanish, but soon the project snowballed into a music video to accompany the sheet music.

"I have felt the hand of the Lord in this project, and it’s my hope and prayer that children in Spanish-speaking countries can feel God’s love for them through music," Scott says.
