This simple way of gathering helps Relief Society sisters find real connection

"We're excited to go to Houston," Jeremy Guthrie said after being called as a mission president. "This is the next three years of our lives. . . . I am living proof that the Lord likes to work with the simple and weak sometimes. But hopefully, I can be someone who learns well and more importantly, is able to find his direction through the Spirit in all the many tasks that will be placed before me as a mission president."

I remember the first time I told someone out loud that my husband was inactive. In my quest for insight and inspired answers, I’ve found many helpful stories and lots of advice that I believe can offer hope to others the way it has for me.

In 2014, the U.S. Naval Research Center wanted to develop a nutrient that would increase the metabolism, increase the energy, reduce the fatigue, and sharpen the mental acuity of Marines and Navy Seals under the extreme pressure of combat.

If you have ever stood in the centuries-old church where your ancestors were married, walked through a field they farmed, or reverently stood at the headstone of an ancestor, you know the power of special places. Visiting places that were significant in the lives of your ancestors can be a deeply moving experience. It helps you visualize their lives and connect with them in ways not possible any other way. Sharing that experience with loved ones deepens your bond with your living family members as well.

Recently City of Enoch, a new LDS trio dedicated to spreading the message of Jesus Christ, performed two originals from their new CD at the Mormon Channel Studio. Trio members Brianna Curran, Jeremy Christensen, and Kyle Wesley not only give an extraordinarily beautiful, soulful performance, but they also talk about forming their group and the inspirations behind their music.

Following are the incredible stories of Justin Bisimwa, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Collins family, a family of 15 in San Diego, California, who have now teamed up to create a non-profit organization called New Neighbor Relief that helps refugees in San Diego become self-reliant.
