What I realized about God and garments from studying the Creation

Last fall, Church leaders were brainstorming the possibility of recording a message of hope for Church members. After their meeting, President Nelson received a strong impression that he needed to record a message for the world, not just members of the Church. And the #GiveThanks video was born.

Last week, former Major League Baseball pitcher and mission president Jeremy Guthrie and his wife, Jenny, finished their full-time missionary service presiding over the Texas Houston Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since returning home, Guthrie has taken to social media to share his parting thoughts about their experience.

The Church released the following statement from Sam Penrod, Church spokesman, on Tuesday morning:

Now more than ever, Latter-day Saint children have access to a multitude of resources The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has created specifically for them. Among these is the Gospel for Kids app.
