For their new Christmas campaign, "A Savior Is Born," the Church released a video that shows what the world would be like without a Savior--the pain, isolation, and darkness that would exist without the Light of the World.
How lucky we are that we do have a Savior and that we can celebrate His birth this wonderful season.
This video accompanied the release of the Church's 2015 Christmas video, "A Savior Is Born," which combats the busyness of the Christmas season by reminding people across the world the importance of the Savior's birth, life, and mission--the true purpose for celebrating this season.
“We live in a world where the power and influence of God in our daily lives are downplayed and dismissed and where the need for a Savior is ignored and even mocked,” says Elder Dallin H. Oaks. “For those who are devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ, there has never been a greater need for us to profess our faith in our Savior, privately and publicly" (“A Savior Is Born,” Ensign, Dec. 2015).

Keep the Savior in your home this Christmas withbeautiful artwork that reminds us of Him.
The artist of this stunning piece, Simon Dewey, said, "I love the Gospel of John. The opening verses of chapter one are at once poetic and sublime, simple yet profound: 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God....In him was life; and the life was the light of men.'
"To each of us on this journey home, John’s powerful witness of the Savior remains a guide as we come to realize the reality of it for ourselves. 'We beheld his glory, the glory as of the Only-Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.'" To add this piece to your collection, visit DeseretBook.com.
