The Church’s donations to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Food Program will help those displaced by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
On Friday, the First Presidency said they are praying that “the controversies will end peacefully, and that peace will prevail among nations and within our own hearts.”
“I hope that people could speak more openly about Black Latter-day Saint history and that we could hear more of their experiences. As a Black woman, it is important to me to know of other strong Black people, to learn of their accomplishments and about their lives.”
