Based on current information from medical and government officials, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints plans to hold For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conferences in the United States and Canada beginning in the summer of 2021. Wards are encouraged to reserve the dates they are assigned to attend.
The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has provided updated guidelines to help Church leaders and members safely increase engagement in worship and other activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elder Renlund encourages Latter-day Saints to “reach out in love and caring for those who have suicidal thoughts, who have attempted suicide, who feel marginalized in any way. We need to reach out with love and understanding. And you do that in concert with health care professionals, with ecclesiastical leaders, with friends and family support.”
