A young missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has passed away. Church spokesman Daniel Woodruff released the following statement Saturday, March 28, 2020:
“Now is not only a time for us to look back, it is the time to look forward with excitement to the future,” said President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a visit to the Republic of Singapore. “What a glorious future is in store for you.”
President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brought glad tidings Tuesday night to hundreds of gathered Church members at the Premier Centre Sen Sok in Phnom Penh. He unveiled an artist’s rendering of what will become one of the Church’s most sacred worship spaces—the Phnom Penh Temple.
"May I suggest that you bow your head with gratitude of heart," President Nelson said to members of the Church before announcing eight new temples, reminding us of the sacred nature of temples and asking that exclamations of excitement over new temples be kept reverent.
