Unnamed Women of the New Testament: Certain Women

Linda K. Burton, then Relief Society General President, shared the following quote from Daughters in My Kingdom during general conference: “The New Testament includes accounts of [certain] women, named and unnamed, who exercised faith in Jesus Christ [and in His Atonement], learned and lived His teachings, and testified of His ministry, miracles, and majesty. These women became exemplary disciples and important witnesses in the work of salvation.” In this special episode, we discuss the certain women mentioned in Luke 8:2–3 and how they were certain in their testimonies of Christ and in their ministering to Christ.

The stories found in these gospels will have us all wondering about when He comes again.

Jennifer Lane: Temples—Orienting Our Souls to Christ

A 2020 First Presidency Message reads, “The sacred teachings, promises, and ceremonies of the temple are of ancient origin, and point God’s children to Him as they make further covenants and learn more about His plan, including the role of the Savior Jesus Christ.” Learning more about God’s plan and the role of a Savior in that plan are things that all of us desire but religious rituals can be difficult to understand and the prospect of wearing sacred temple garments may cause apprehension.
