The most popular New Year’s resolution in the United States last year was to eat healthy and exercise regularly. “Learn something new,” “get organized,” and “read more” rounded out the list. As worthwhile as those goals might be, none of them are listed below as resolutions for 2014. In response to news media requests, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has issued the following statement regarding the upcoming Broadway musical entitled The Book of Mormon: The production may attempt to entertain audiences for an evening, but the Book of Mormon as a volume of scripture will change people's lives forever by bringing them closer to Christ.
