Today we’re talking tomato. Tomatoes are one of the staples of my garden. I’ve started from seed, and I’ve purchased plants from the local nursery (and there have been years when I’ve managed to kill my starts, and end up buying plants to replace them). I grow cherry (or grape!) tomatoes for salads and for the kids to eat- there are few things better than sitting and watching kids picking through the garden eating vegetables (or picking through with them). I grow slicing tomatoes to eat fresh. Most importantly I grow paste tomatoes for canning and making salsa.

A new version of FamilySearch.org, which launched today, makes family history research more interactive and conveniently collaborative, with added social media, photo and story elements that create a more personal family history experience for each user. FamilySearch, the world’s largest genealogy organization and a nonprofit sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has updated its website to enable individuals to work together with others online to build their family tree, compile and share family photos and stories, create interactive fan charts and access 24-7 online assistance — all for free.
McKenzie Kate Green was born and raised in Utah. She is the oldest of three kids and fortunate enough to be the daughter of Brent and Mandy Green. She recently graduated high school in 2018, and spent fall semester of 2018 teaching English to little kids in China. She just returned home from a mission in the Baguio, Philippines Mission. McKenzie loves anything that has to do with travel and going to Disneyland. She has participated in many dance and cheerleading teams over the years and loves being a part of a team. She is always down to have a dance party in the car, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, etc. Some of her favorites include: cheesecake, Coldplay, Harry Styles, concerts, long drives, and deep talks. She plans to go into the interior design field in the future.
Samuel Brown is an academic, a shock trauma ICU doctor, and a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. He has achieved much professionally, but it was not until his wife, Kate Holbrook, was diagnosed with cancer in her eye and he faced the risk of losing his beloved that Sam realized he had neglected things in his home. This realization was painful and required work to undo the hurt of the past, but together, he and his wife have rebuilt a home and a marriage they are grateful for and proud of.
