Faye Leydecker

Faye was born in the UK and grew up in Bordeaux, South Western France, where her mum comes from. She was a member of the ward there until she was about 20 and became inactive Her favourite activities are wild swimming, walks along the beach, and yoga. In fact, yoga and meditation got her back in touch with her spiritual self, and led to a return to the church and to Christ.

Greg Richardson

Greg Richardson is a husband, father, computer geek, tinkerer, and amateur mathematician. He has a degree in computer science from BYU and has worked as a software developer and architect for over four decades. He currently works as a software architect for BYU and the Church Educational System of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoys spending time with his family, solving and inventing puzzles.

Sarah Griffin

Sarah was an editorial intern for LDS Living and loves being able to read entire books on cozy, rainy days. After completing her internship, she will return to Brigham Young University to complete a degree in Editing and Publishing. In her free time, Sarah enjoys biking and walking her two goldendoodles.

Melissa Wei-Tsing Inouye

Melissa Inouye was an insightful author, scholar, and advocate. Having grown up in a multicultural family, she navigated diverse cultural landscapes with particular skill. Inouye's education in Asian and Pacific Island studies, as well as her PhD in Chinese history from Harvard University, informed her prolific writings. Living and studying abroad in Asia enriched her understanding of global issues and inspired her to explore Latter-day Saint themes within a broader cultural context. She was known for her ability to navigate doctrinal teachings and diverse perspectives with characteristic compassion. Through her books and essays, Inouye's voice and legacy continue to contribute to ongoing conversations about faith, identity, and the human condition.

Paige Sommer

Paige Sommer is a content specialist, writer, and video producer for Deseret Book. She has a MFA in creative writing. If you want to be best friends, talk with her about books, creative writing, Italy (where she served her mission), or her five children and four stepchildren.

Jennifer Champoux

Jennifer Champoux is the director of the Book of Mormon Art Catalog and a scholar of the visual culture of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She co-edited Approaching the Tree: Interpreting 1 Nephi 8 (Maxwell Institute, 2023) and is currently writing a book on pioneer artist C. C. A. Christensen. Her scholarship on religious art can also be found in several articles at BYU Studies. Previously, she taught art history as adjunct faculty at Northeastern University and Emerson College. Jenny lives in Colorado with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She loves serving as the Young Women President in her ward.

Cole Wissinger

Cole has been doing podcasts and radio since high school and is excited to now be doing it for LDSLiving. His hobbies include sports, movies, board games, and listening to podcasts about sports, movies, and board games. He grew up an only child, which was never notable enough to put in a bio until he moved to Utah. His dream is to make it to Jeopardy! someday, not necessarily win, but just make it. And maybe get a few questions right.

Carol Lawrence-Costley

Sister Carol Lawrence-Costley was born in London, England. She received a master’s degree from Brigham Young University in social work and currently helps individuals overcome their addictions. She and her husband, Jerry Costley, have five children. Sister Lawrence-Costley served as a member of the Young Women general advisory council from September 2018 to July 2023.

Ellissa Collet

My name is Ellissa Collet. I am 20 years old! I returned from a mission in the Washington D.C North mission earlier this year. I am currently braving through nursing school. Jesus and my Dog are my best friends. I love hanging out with my crazy family!

Colleen Nordberg

Colleen was born and raised in Roy Utah. Her greatest joy is spending time with family and good friends. She loves reading and listening to podcasts. Most of all Colleen has a love for the Savior.
