That translates into kids in outlying areas that are the only members in their high schools. "Everyone knows I'm a member of the Church. They ask a lot of questions," Marisa Riddoch said. She's the only member in her high school of about 500 students. Three girls that have no LDS boys in their high school admitted that "It kinda stinks," but added, "It makes something like this really fun for us."

Jenkins became more familiar to American audiences recently as she competed on ABC’s 14th season of Dancing with the Stars. She said the invitation to sing with the choir came when she was participating on the popular television program. She said she was “absolutely thrilled” with the opportunity to perform with the choir. “I was well aware of the choir and its Welsh roots and thought it would be a lovely thing to do.”
LDS artists Monica Scott and Kristin Hodson collaborated to create a Primary song commemorating Sariah's strength and her faith. Scott, who is a pianist, wrote the music for "Sariah's Faith" while Hodson wrote the lyrics. About the song, the two say they wanted to "share a song about the strength, courage, and faith of Sariah, the first woman of the Book of Mormon. You've heard about Nephi's courage but what about Sariah's faith? Together, they bring Sariah to life."
