If an album was a memoir, this would be a soundtrack to the life of pianist and songwriter Paul Cardall. The Broken Miracle album is based on a biographical fiction novel of the same name. Written by J.D. Netto, the book will be released on February 2, with the album following on February 5.
The Church is launching a worldwide initiative for youth and children. On Mormon Newsroom, the Church stated:
Most of us have heard the story of the rescuers who carried beleaguered handcart Saints across the Sweetwater River. It’s a beautiful story. It has been a favorite of general authorities for years. This video shares that story with a song complementing it (sung by LDS artist Wayne Burton, with Rebecca Lopez, and orchestrated by Kenneth Cope). The song really is beautiful. It’s perfect for this time of year when we remember the pioneers and their examples.

Like many young couples, Nate and Vanessa Quigley had big dreams and a firm vision for their little family after getting married. They had read the Book of Mormon scripture that promises if you keep the commandments, you will prosper in the land (2 Nephi 4:4). Over a quarter of a century later, they believe the Lord has blessed them in their efforts to raise their children in the gospel of Jesus Christ—those blessings just look a little different than they imagined. On today’s episode, the Quigleys share the challenges they've encountered as parents and why they are convinced their family is perfect for them.

While she has been on the frontlines of COVID-19, she has witnessed the toll the virus has taken on patients and their families, tirelessly researching how to bring about the end of the pandemic with her colleagues. On this week’s episode, she graciously answers our questions surrounding COVID-19 and shares what the experience has taught her about discipleship.
