Why Andy Reid says conducting the Tabernacle Choir was one of the highlights of his life

Do you remember when President Uchtdorf told us about the bumper sticker he saw tacked onto the end of a car whose driver seemed to be a "little rough around the edges"?

Sometimes we feel like we’ve done everything right—tried to do good, tried to follow the Spirit—and still, everything falls to pieces. Sometimes we even feel that we’ve made circumstances worse, despite our honorable intentions. We stand looking at the disaster at our feet and we wonder, Is this my fault? Did I do something wrong? And what am I supposed to do now?

This year has been packed with big changes in the LDS Church, from updating temple policies to consolidating sessions of general conference. As we prepare for a new year, here's a quick overview of all the major changes in the Church from 2017.

Wendell Bradford Terry (known to his friends as Mike) and Beverly Ann Dodge married while Terry was on leave during his training to become a B-17 bomber pilot. Beverly and Wendell were allowed to live together during much of Lieutenant Terry's training, but when Wendell left for the European theater, Beverly moved back to Utah to be with her family.

I had a friend who, whenever we were out walking, would never fail to find trash along the road and pick it up to throw away when we walked by a trash can. We never went out with the intention to pick up trash—it was just something she did whenever we were out.

This past year was one for the books for Mormons. From volunteering and organizing relief efforts to sharing their talents on Dancing with the Stars and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Mormons have rocked 2017.
