After 15 months, three of the Church’s 10 missionary training centers are now training missionaries in person after all MTCs stopped training missionaries on site due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When Matthew C. Godfrey began working as an editor on the Joseph Smith Papers Project 11 years ago, he says the Prophet of the Restoration “seemed almost like a mythic figure to me—someone who was so much more spiritually advanced that I had a hard time relating to him,” according to an article recently published on the Church’s website.

The Faylor family, from San Antonio, Texas, will soon be making Church history as all of their children begin missionary service this fall.

One of the most hopeful truths of the Restoration is found in Doctrine and Covenants 137:10: “All children who die before they arrive at the years of accountability are saved in the celestial kingdom of heaven.”

The Hill Cumorah Pageant is ending after 84 years. As a thank you for the contributions of tens of thousands of participants, volunteers, and audience members over the years, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will present a devotional with Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and a broadcast of the 2019 Hill Cumorah Pageant on July 9, 2021.
