Adam London was born and raised in a small farming community just outside of Ogden City, Utah. Adam became interested in magic and theatre at a very young age. Like many in the magic community, he started in magic because of the tricks of another. Watching his grandfather, a bit of an amateur magician, working with cards and restoring toothpicks and silverware was how Adam became fascinated by the art. Adam performed at Cub Scout and church events all throughout Northern Utah into his teenage years.

Church spokeswoman Irene Caso released the following statement on September 14, 2018:

“We are not in the worst part of this yet, but should start to see some impact later today,” Charleston South Carolina Stake President Darren Johnson reported Friday morning about Hurricane Florence. “If we feel we are ready, and if we are spared from the major impact of this storm, we will be ready to go and assist in (affected) areas.”

On Instagram, Elizabeth Smart summarized her feelings regarding the release of Wanda Barzee: "I ask those that have the power, and her family to start proceedings to have her be civilly committed. To my knowledge she has neither complied with medication or treatment and as some one who has experienced first hand just how depraved she truly is, I believe her to be a threat and a danger not just to myself but to the community, any vulnerable person. I lived in absolute fear and terror for nine months, no matter the outcome I will not do so again."

“When [Hurricane Florence] did come, I felt that our missionaries were feeling quite peaceful and well-prepared,” North Carolina Raleigh Mission President Matthew S. Holland told the Church News on Thursday.

Eighteen-year-old Charity Anderson and Andres Peñate have won the hearts of viewers all over the country during their stint on World of Dance. After makinghistory with the first perfect score on the show earlier this season and then winning the junior division of World of Dance last week despite Anderson breaking her toe, the duo went on to compete in the show's finale for the $1 million prize. With a combined average score of 94.3, the pair took third while The Lab won the coveted grand prize.

Among the exciting changes to the way we minister is who we get to minister with. Young women ages 14 and up can now serve as ministering sisters with the Relief Society. This seems a long time coming, as the young men have had the opportunity to serve in this capacity for many years now.
