When you think of top contemporary Christian artists, you may picture Casting Crowns, Alan Jackson, or Lauren Daigle, but you will likely end up with Hilary Weeks's "Say Love" playing in your head.
The 2010 U.S. National Jamboree was defined by its variety as Scouts from all corners of the country participated in high-adventure activities that ranged from rappelling to BMX racing.Counted among the tens of thousands of Scouts who enjoyed a week of summer adventure and camaraderie at Virginia's Fort A.P. Hill that year was a group of LDS Scouts who were eager for a full Jamboree experience. Boy Scout Troop 601, a Church-sponsored unit from Utah's Great Salt Lake Council, included several special needs Scouts that ranged in age from the mid-20s to late 40s. Their senior member was almost 50. Many were veterans of past National Jamborees. They spent that memorable week involved in almost all of the outdoor activities enjoyed by traditional Scouts — including merit badge classes, a 5K race and scuba instruction.
We may not hear the words "in sickness and in health" in the temple, but Jalyn Shaw believes the meaning is still there as Latter-day Saints commit to love and serve each other through all eternity. In 2011, Jalyn and her husband, Acey, experienced firsthand what "in sickness and in health" really means when Acey contracted a rare virus. The virus left Acey without the use of his legs, as well as limited use of his arms and his voice. On this week's episode, the couple shares what their experience has taught them about love, service, and eternity.
Editor's Note: The original title of this article, "Is Saying Adam and Eve Were 'Cast Out' Scriptural?" misrepresented the author's intent in focusing on the biblical accounts of the story of Eve and Adam. While the excerpt was accurate, the podcast guest intended to focus on ancient scripture. While the words "cast out" do not appear in the Bible or in the Pearl of Great Price, the words "cast out" are used in Doctrine and Covenants 29:41 which reads, "Wherefore, I, the Lord God, caused that he should be cast out from the Garden of Eden."

“I love to see the temple. I’ll go inside someday.” For many Latter-day Saints, these lyrics from the Primary song “I Love to See the Temple” are familiar and meaningful. But the early Saints didn’t grow up singing that song; the idea of a temple and temple ordinances was mostly unfamiliar to them. So when the Lord commanded that they build His “house,” there was some hesitation. As we study this week’s lesson in Doctrine and Covenants 94–97, we will see how the Lord lovingly reproved the Saints and the instructions He gave to them that can enhance our temple worship today.
The Book of Mormon was featured in two articles this week, one detailing how there are other records buried like the Book of Mormon was, and the other proving we don't need to see the actual plates to know the truth of the Book of Mormon.
We weren’t there in the Garden of Gethsemane and we weren’t there by the Garden Tomb when the Savior rose again. We also weren’t present when the Father and the Son appeared to the boy Joseph Smith or when key characters from Church history met each other for the first time. We have studied these stories and heard them countless times, so it may be easy for us to feel like we know exactly what happened, why people reacted the way they did, or made the choices they did. But there is so much we don’t know.
