What brings you comfort or peace? If we asked a child that question, their answer might be an ice cream cone or a trip to Disneyland. And while the kid in many of us may find solace in a little ice cream, we’ve likely found deeper sources of comfort; things like a good conversation with someone we trust or a long hug. But the deepest and most lasting peace comes from a knowledge of Christ and His plan. Moana Wolfgramm Feinga: Family Over Fame

Moana Wolfgramm was just 12 years old when she and The Jets released their debut album through MCA records—an album that would produce top 10 charting songs and ultimately go platinum. She and her siblings were truly living the dream as they traveled the world and performed on some of the world’s biggest stages. But by the time Moana was 17, fame had taken a toll on her family and she felt as if they were already has-beens. As she tried to find herself again and the Wolfgramms had to decide if family was more important than money, Moana says one thing kept her grounded—her faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

That song was ringing through our ears while reading about the Old Testament prophet Jacob this week. From being tricked by his father-in-law to struggling with his brother Esau, Jacob faced a lot of challenges in his life. But he always kept his word, and the blessings he received for doing so still make an impact on us today. So grab your scriptures and let's dig into Genesis 28–33 to learn more about how this prophet was blessed for keeping his integrity.
